Family

I have to say that I have had such a great time being back here and getting together with my family. I am lucky enough to have my cousin babysit my girls so I get to see her and her sister and my aunt quite a bit. My brother, sister-in-law, and 2 of my neices live here and so we get together quite a bit and hang out. My sister-in-law is a great cook so she makes something delicious and invites us over to eat. For mother's day and Easter, we all made it out to my Grandpa and Grandma's for dinner and catching up. I didn't think I would want to move back to ole' Farmington but I am so glad that we did. Now we just need to wait for Arturo to get here so he can enjoy these memories with us.
Ciera is almost out of school and has enjoyed this year. She has made friends with a few neat girls. One of them happens to be the daughter of one of my best friends from Church/Jr. High and High school. She has enjoyed her Spanish bi-lingual class a ton! I have been so impressed with her Spanish and this class helps her to keep that up not only in speech but reading and writing also.
Victoria is still my little firecracker. I tell everyone that she is my Mexican jumping bean. Sometimes she will just start jumping in place watching t.v or standing in line at the post office. Oh I sometimes wonder why Heavenly Father didn't give her to me when I was younger and had more energy (ok patience) for her.
Lluvia is almost 10 months and already walking all over the house. Just finally when I have a baby I want to stay the baby cuz she is the last, she goes and grows up right before my eyes.
As for me, I am still working and loving my job. I get to meet so many stange and wonderful people there. It's been a lot of fun!

Update

I figured I needed to post something newer on here seeing how we have already been to Mexico and back. We had a great time down there. It was so good to see Arturo. I was a little nervous to how Lluvia would react with him seeing how she wasn't even 6 months old when we came to NM and she hadn't seen him in 3 months. She went right to him and loved him. It was the cutest thing. It made me want to hurry and get him here just as fast as I could.
His papers should be on the way to the National Visa Center soon. They are still giving us a time of 6 months, but as soon as the paperwork gets to the Consulate in Juarez, it should only take a few days to get an appointment. Meanwhile, I am looking into seeing what we need in order for him to get a visitor visa so he can be here during that time. I am ready for all this to be over. I am tired of not having my husband around and the kids are tired of not having Papi here. Our little family has been through so much in the last few years. We all have had our share of the blame. Mine for falling in love with a good looking guy who happened to be a Mexican citizen. I was so naive back then. I didn't know too much about illegals or green cards, and all that crazy stuff. Saying that, I wouldn't change the fact that I married him. I said I wouldn't do it again cuz of my first, bless his pointy little head, but I am so glad I did. He is an awesome step-father to Ciera and a wonderful father to Victoria and Lluvia.
While in Mexico, I bought some cute dresses for the girls. We all headed over to Anya's house last week and had my cousin Amanda take pictures. I have seen her pictures before on her web page, but was really surprised when I saw her in action. She spent hours taking pictures of my 3 and Anya's 2. The pictures turned out so so cute. I should have some of them to post on here soon. So here is a plug for her! If you need pictures taken for ANYTHING, I would suggest getting a hold of her cuz she is amazing.
I am still working full time, and plan on keeping that up. Unless Marc's petition goes through court and he tries to start collecting child support. Then forget it! All the Marc stuff is another story. When it's all done and over with, I will post the results on here. In this aspect, I am thankful for the gospel and our belief of eternal family. It sits easier for me to know that even if he keeps them from me in this life, he will pay for that in a higher court and they will still be mine for Eternity.

5 days until we head to Mexico.

Hello everyone, we are starting to get so excited. Only 5 more days until we get to go to Mexico for a little visit. My husband and my in-laws have been asking for 2 months when we were coming down for a visit. I guess they figured that wasn't working, so they got my mother-in-law on the phone to ask me. She suggested we pick a date and choose Easter weekend. I couldn't get the time off work that weekend, so we choose the weekend before Easter. Well that happens to be this one coming up. WOOHOO! Arturo's birthday was yesterday and Victoria and I were talking about calling him to tell him Happy Birthday, and she said she was going to tell him Happy Birthday Papi, Victoria's home! She has no concept of time but is getting really excited to go see everyone, especially her papi. I can't imagine how hard it is for her to not have him around. She loves him so much! We are taking the bus down. I figured it was well worth my sanity to just have someone else do the driving. We leave Friday, the 2nd and come back Sunday the 5th. It's a short visit, but a visit none the less. We are planning to celebate Arturo's b-day with his family while we are there. Though I told him not to expect any presents other than the fact we are coming. It should be a blast and we can hardly wait. VIVA MEXICO!!

This week in almost over.

Wow, this week has really been a busy one. As most of you know, I am back in the work force. I figured I would just start with 10-15 hours a week and really try to keep it there. Well I went to apply at Pizza Warehouse, where 2 of my sisters and 2 of my brothers had worked before me, and for the same owners. Needless to say the Sherman name goes a very long way for that company and I was hired on as an assistant manager. I can't decide if it's the pizza or the hard work that is in my blood that makes me love my job, but I do. I have not had a day off in a week, and am looking forward to being off tomorrow. I have been blessed with a sister-in-law who has been sweet enough to watch my little one's, who are mama's girls, and my wonderful cousin who I will refer to from here on out as my life saver, and my parents, who in my old age i have really come to realize how much i appreciate. I would not be able to work if it wasn't for my family willing and ready to step in to help.
Aside from working a straight week, I have juggled in 2 dentist appointments. While we were there they decided to fill 2 of Ciera's cavities and pull a baby tooth, and crown Victoria's 4, top, front teeth. That was a lot of fun...NOT!. It took 3 of us holding her down while the dentist numbed her teeth and the same 3 to keep her pinned down while the dentist capped her teeth. Needless to say, I don't think that she will ever want to go to the dentist again. Then 2 days later Victoria and Lluvia went in to the doctor for their well child checks and their shots. Then today Ciera and I went to the eye doctors. She needs glasses. So in a week or so, she will be able to see clearly again.
I am so glad to be back here in Farmington. I have missed having my family close to me. It's been so fun to be able to see everyone and to have my kids get to know so many more people who love them. Like I always say, you can never have too many people love you, and that goes double for kids.

Finally

I have been meaning to do this forever, but never felt like I had the time. Truth is I thought it would be a little more difficult then it was.
Just to update everyone, The girls and I are living in New Mexico with my parents. Ciera is going to school and is enjoying it. She has really come a long way with her reading. She has found how fun it can be. Victoria is busy being 2, and teaching Grandpa and Grandma some new words in Spanish. She has learned so much english in the last 2 months. Lluvia is 7 months old already. She has done great with the transition of me going back to work. She is trying to walk already. She isn't trying to crawl yet, but as quickly as she is advancing it should be soon. I am back in the work force after 3 years and really like my job.
Arturo is still in Mexico living with his brother and sister-in-law. We hope to apply for a visa soon, and get him up here. I hate that we are seperated, and still will be for months.
Matt, Chelsea, and Mason are still living in Kansas. I hope they can come out this summer. More court stuff is going to be involved in that. They are doing great out there. Matt is growing to be a young man already. Chelsea is trying out for the drill team, and gets her braces off in the next few months. Mason has been chosen to recieve a full paid scholarship for an esteemed music school in Kansas City for his chello playing. I am proud of the progress everyone is making.
